Guergana Guintcheva is professor of Marketing at EDHEC Business School. She holds a PhD degree in Marketing from the University of Montpellier. Her academic research and personal passions revolve around entertainment marketing (cinema, museums and video games). Her current research projects study sustainable culture and diversity issues in the entertainment sector. She works on a regular basis with audio-visual arts institutions.

Cédric Babouche Dordogne

Art & creativity : Dordogne and how to bring traditional art in video games

Cédric Babouche graduated in art and animation. After two acclaimed animated short films, he developed and produced animated feature films and TV series in his first company Dandelooo until 2017.In 2018, he founded UN JE NE SAIS QUOI and joined Umanimation, a transmedia production company. Dordogne, his first project, which mixes watercolor with 3D in a nostalgic narrative experience, was released in June 2023 by Focus Entertainment and Umanimation.Besides his company, he works as visual development artist for the animation industry, comic book artist and teaches art in several schools around the world.

Culture & society :  Navigating complex stories through games

Sindi Breshani is the co-founder of “Episod Studio”, a mission-led developer of games that interpret socio-political and climate topics. Their game in development “Race for the Arctic” is the first commercial video game built entirely to promote the fight against climate change. Future titles include an open-world about dictatorship and a multiplayer game about propaganda. The studio is supported by the “UK Games Fund” and “InnovationRCA Incubator”.

Raphaël Villegas is a versatile digital artist with a rich background in the visual arts, the result of a highly diverse career. He has worked as an illustrator, co-founded an independent video game studio, served as a Creative Director in the communication field, acted as the Lead Concept Artist for “Appeal Studios”, and most recently, held the position of Art Director at “Abrakam Studio”.
This array of roles has allowed him to explore a wide range of artistic skills.
